Songs that make you...
Cry: Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me" WAHHHH!!!
Smile: Todd Rundgren, "Bang on the Drum" Feel Good: "Dancin' in the Moonlight" by Van Morrison (King Harvest?) and "How Far is Heaven" by Los Lonely Boys, even though its words are actually a little sad Want... um... your significant other: "Crash" by Dave Mathews Think: Currently, "Change Your Mind" by Sister Hazel Move: SO many! How 'bout "We Didn't Start the Fire" by Billy Joel Sing: Again SO many! I'll go with "Brown Eyed Girl" by anybody who sings it (there's a few) Cringe: "99 Red Balloons" by whoever's singing it at the time Uncomfortable: "The Freshmen" by Verve Pipe Yeah, lots of these songs date me, but I was just scanning through all the titles I've got on my hard drive and it's a wide assortment. I haven't heard much new music in the past year and a half either! What are the songs that make YOU...??? |

Think of Sig. Other: Lets get drunk and screw.
My wife actually called me on my cell phone today and said this. I guess she is looking forward to the Jimmy Buffett concert next weekend.I don't have songs that elicit certain emotions as much as remind me of certain things that I was doing when I heard the songs. Robert Palmer Addicted to Love: Spending "time" with my high school girlfriend Kick Axe Heavy Metal Shuffle: Driving around in my brother's Camero Any Motley Crue song: Enjoying life and getting high while my parents footed the bill for everything! Tchaikovsky Cinderella, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Etc.: Spending time with my mom seeing classical concerts and ballets. Basically I'm a musical reject. I still love the songs from my early teens through college that remind me of what was going on in my life when I heard those songs. Still happens now actually. I also love the U2 song "Beautiful Day" because it was the soundtrack to the kite surfing video from this site. Everytime I hear that song it reminds me of Playa and all the playa.info peeps. |

Nice thread Susie!
<O:p</O:p Feel Good: Allman Brothers, Summertime<O:p</O:p Dance: Average White Band, Brick House (+ anything else with a beat that’s not club or rap) Want…um: Agree with Susie. Dave Matthews, Crash started a kitchen counter encounter. Sing: Aretha Franklin, Baby I Love You, but I can’t sing. If lip syncing in the shower counts that’s my choice. Daydream: <ST1:pCrosby </ST1:pand Nash, Lee Shore Loose an hour or so on the patio: Santana, Sacred Fire the whole album. Have fun: Prince, Raspberry Beret<O:p</O:p Energized: Van Halen, 5150, the whole album Cringe: Thanks Ginger. I will probably be trying to get the Pina Colada song out of my head all day tomorrow.
