Tommy, go to Scream Ink. Don't mess around when you're talking about needles in your skin. Plus, they're on the Playa Deal Card! How can you go wrong? Unless you're planning on getting the "Yosemite Sam with 2 six guns" tattoo. In which case, go wherever you want!

Last time I was there I got an extension for an already existing tat in a shop on fifth called something with "suerte".....can't remember. The owner was called Paco I think......jeez, it's so long ago. It's upstairs- on the right of the stairs leading up is a liquor store.......it's pretty much at the beginning still.....maybe on of the locals can check the name.
The work came out really nice- he did the design just for me.......price was absolutely okay and hygene (very improtant) was absolutely ace. I think best is to check out the working style and the place a few times before you go- see if they use new needles on every customer and new pots for ink etc.....just hang out and talk and see. |

Tommy, John talked to the guy at Scream Ink quite extensively. (Pony, I think his name is) He charges $85 per hour, negotiable if your are getting a lot of work done, which John was going to do (cover up work of his current ones). In relation, they charge $100 to $150 per hour up here.
