Hadn't heard it was to be a Wal-Mart knock-off, or whatever, but yeah, that's a good one -- underground parking in an area riddled with cenotes!
That said, there are occasionally rumors about whether the presence of cenotes was or was not properly accounted for during the construction phase of certain buildings here and there. We did here, though! Got foundation/supports sunk much further than normal, I'm happy to say.
