my wife & I spent a fabulous week at the Alegro last April. the only real draw back was the room noise. because of the thatched roofs sound travels between the rooms easily. our neighbours were rabbits all night long... si si si if you know what I mean! And if we could hear them playin' they could hear us
. We were also caught in 3 days of torrental downpours so the rooms get pretty small after a while. getting back to the thatched roofs, after a couple hours of rain they get saturated & start to smell mouldy & possibly leak. We were lucky that our roof never leaked in our room but a few other guests were complaining they weren't that lucky. on the plus side the grounds & beach were fabulous. laying on the beach our drinks never ran out, they were always refreshed before we even had to look for a pool boy. We are on our way back this spring to PDC & can't wait for the sun & warmth...
