We didn't go into playa at night. we went a few times, but during the day. hit the beach and 5th ave.

you'll love the resort. alot of socializing. get involved in some of the activities they have. Some are pretty fun. a big group of us usually hung out at the pool bar area...
I loved it. My wife and I would love to go back.
