My wife & I are going to stay at the Gran Porto Real in April this year & we were wondering about Time Shares. We don't want to get sucked into another time share presentation like the one we got last year at the Allegro Playacar. They told us it was an orientation put on by our resort to basically show us around & there would be a few nice gifts for us after. We had drank a few wobbly pops by then so we agreed to this offer from them to show us around. Well after 2 1/2 hours it was finally over. Never again!!! We were so mad at ourselves & them for taking up our valuble time we said we'd never go through that again. All we got out of it was 2 t-shirts & a bottle of taquilla. All through our ordeal we were telling them that we wanted nothing to do with a time share & they wouldn't take no for an answer. Our question to anyone who's stayed at the GPR is how do we avoid this from happening to us again? We enjoyed staying at the Allegro Playacar but because of that we are gonna stay at the GPR this year. Thanks for letting us vent...
