Talking about the lighthouse.....
Can you actually walk to the top of the lighthouse....I promised my daughters that I would take them to the top when we were there over the new year and I know that when I return with them in another 3 weeks, they will be asking me again.
If so, how do you access this and do you need to be staying at El Faro to do so? Seņor Jota ![]() ![]() |

It would be hard to stay at El Faro these days, as they've been closed since at least last July when Hurricane Emily came through. :-) They generally shoo you away if you get too close to the property, so I'm guessing it's not possible to access the lighthouse these days.

nope ... no pictures.... really modern and chic. the colors are cool... the stairways cool.... but the pool, it is right behind the reception desk.... i thought it was odd... then we went in and looked at the rooms at the alhambra that had been one of our choices to stay at before we went, stayed at luna blue instead, thank you, yikes... it was nice but the atmosphere hmmm not for me. then we looked at fusion....... wide variety of places....

Moderator note: the previous final post with link to article regarding possible sale of the Mosquito properties has been split off into a new thread here, for anyone interested in that.

Yes, I've read those reviews before and the last two really made me laugh.
"Do you like margaritas? Well, you can't have one because the bar isn't open yet. But you can feel like one if you turn the AC on in your room" Loosely translated, of course.Just wondering if anyone from the forum has been by and what their impressions are. |
