As for the travel, I figure the 45 minutes drive isn't really that bad. I could always have a "Happy hour or 2" and drink capuccinos for the rest of the night. I'm a stickler for the no drinking and driving though, it's just not worth it. My preference would be to crash at a hotel within walking (I mean stumbling distance) from the waterfront.

It is about a 40 minute ride for us too...and I am sure I will be the DD or maybe hubby will agree to be DD...we will have to flip a coin.

Well I did drive up to Wilmington 2 weeks ago to go to the plant and look at the cars in the parking lot. I think it took me about an hour fifteen or thirty to get there, and that was this side of the bridge. I would have to drive right by BWI to get there

Let me discuss this with she who must be obeyed and see if she is interested. Maybe I can even take here to the plant to see my n ew car

Couple of problems with that, there are somewhere between 13-15,000 orders placed with dealers. As of Friday 3400 and change have been produced.

Orders started in April, first cars were delivered in mid September. I ordered (after I actually saw and sat in the car) in late September. My dealer was allocated 5 for this year (they ae already sold). In January he will know his allocation for the 1st quarter. I am currently 6th on the waiting list. If he gets five, then I will have to wait until April to officially place my order with GM.

My Playainfo time has been limited lately. I totally missed this post in the off-topic section. Thanx so much Kathy for the PM.

We have tentative plans to visit a friend of ours for his 40th Birthday in Hershey, PA that weekend. I'm trying to move this around for the Peep Meet, but alternative is that I attend Peep Meet solo and hubby has a guys night out.

With this in mind, not sure if I'm coming solo or not just yet. Wilmington is about 45 min. from me, but I don't want to be drinking and driving. Any other solo peeps planning on coming down who might want to share a hotel room Saturday night? Let me know.

Unfortunately, plans for a Riverfront Hotel have not yet been implemented. The Spencer is in Central Wilmington about 1 mile from the Riverfront. On weekends and late night, their complimentary shuttle service is limited to staff availability, however, they gave me the names and numbers for two reliable taxi services. Due to supply and demand, taxi fare is about $7-$10 each way. Steep, in my opinion. Either my hubster or I will also serve as a designated driver and will be more than happy to get anyone where they need to go, safely. Can't wait to meet all of you!

For those of you who have perused Rubio~'s thread about her Boston visit, I just wanted to reassure everyone planning to attend the Mid-Atlantic Peep Meet that I will be on my best behavior and will not be inciting any bar fights.

I can't promise I won't start a brawl in the parking lot, but I definitely won't start any fights in the bar.

(Thanks, Rubio~ for making people wonder what type of a hellion I really am!!!)
