I can't believe how gracious you are, Nerak, while I, on the other hand started a thread boo-hooing about my losing Red Sox. I am humbled by your good sportswomanship, and I'm gonna take a page outta your book!

Yes, congrats White Sox fans...your team is looking a lot like our guys did last season--fun-loving and exciting. I hope you get to watch them go far into the past-season.

Well, even as a lifelong Cubs fan (sucker!), I did always say that if the White Sox ever had a chance and they weren't playing the Cubs, I'd root for them. So, uh, for the first time in my life, I'd like to say...Go White Sox!! Good guys wear black!

Traitor! While I am not rooting against the White Sox like most of the die hard Cub's fans I know, I just can't get excited over the games.

It is nice to watch without being emotionally involved like those few times the Cubs made the playoffs and choked.

I am so not a traitor! I'm not a White Sox fan, but I'm not one of those obnoxious haters. I'm a Chicago fan, primarily, so if the White Sox win, good for the city!

I admit I'm not emotionally invested, however, and am not gonna cry and have nightmares for 6 weeks following a devestating loss when we only had 5 stinking outs left...you know what I'm saying.

Nerak, you could always root for the Astro's!!! They are still in it. In fact, the grand slam and the game winning home run was caught by the same dude!!! I wonder what the chances...

Unfortunately for the Astros they will no longer be facing ex-Cub's disaster Kyle Farnsworth once they take on St. Louis. Should be a good series however.

Agreed. Growing up in the city and going to Lane Tech H.S. I was always (and still am a CUBS fan), but I still hope the White Sox go all the way.

5 outs...Heather, I really thought last year was going to be THE year. Too bad huh?
