1. ALIEN
2. Remake of THE THING with Kurt Russell 3. NOSFERATU 4. DAWN OF THE LIVING DEAD The original book "Dracula" written by Bram Stoker used to scare me so much, I was constantly having to put it down. We had running roses outside my bedroom window as a kid, and when the wind blew, they'd "scratch" on the screen like a vampire bat!

1. The Sixth Sense (not really horror, but freaked me out).
2. The Dead Zone 3. The Ring (the girl coming out of the TV- eek!) 4. Blair Witch Project (terrible movie with horrible acting but it BADLY scared me, I saw it in a theatre and was hiding my face almost the entire time.) 5. Rosemary's Baby 6. Carrie- the scene at the end where the girl is dreaming and Carrie reaches up from the grave...shudder. |

My tastes have changed over the years. I used to like the "Friday the 13th" et al, where everything was shown in gory detail. I find that now I am more scared by what they don't show,.......case in point, this is not really a "Horror" movie but I was horrified when I watched Signs with Mel Gibson.

For those of you who have AMC they will be showing 100 hours of horror flicks the week before Halloween. Many of them they are repeating a few times but some good one are on the list! I will be setting my vcr a lot that week!
