There's an interesting article about Cozumel in the Chicago Trib. today.

I wonder when this was actually written. Not a mention of "it's okay after Emily", or "post-Emily damage", etc, or thinking to reassure the reader. As I understood it, that side of the Coz got slammed, and some of those bars aren't functioning yet. ???

I think it's a great article. Maybe it's better not to mention it at all and make it sound like all is normal. I find that reassuring in some ways. Like the damage isn't enouhg worth mentioning.

I can't wait for our trip - 7 weeks to go! We haven't stayed on Coz before so this article is making me more excited! We found a place that rents new bicycles and are planning to wander the island that way.
