Nba 2005-2006
+/- 20 days till regular season..... someone please wake Rixx up... Spurs and Heat got it on last nite to start the pre-season... not the half speed scrimmage game that I'd thought it'd be, good clean, hard fought 1st half. Manu started the game right where he left off last year and then Dwyane woke up and put on a classic Wade Show. Came down to practice squad vs. practice squad in the 4th... Heat wins, but the game raised 1.1 million for the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and other hurricane relief charities
My 2005-06 prediction.... Spurs win the championship by default, all the other teams will concede on Day 1

okay....I'm hoping for a 25 win season as the Charlotte Bobcats bring out Emeka Okafor, Sean May and Raymond Felton. Should be fun to watch.
Unfortunately I can only see the Sixers up and watch The Answer (what was the question?) and Chris (bad knees) Webber co-exist. |

Uh-Oh
Been in the bathroom all day throwing up....don't feel too good!
Just what we needed..STAT out for 4 months. I still believe the Suns can make the playoffs no problem. It sure changes things drastically. Suns did BEEF up this off season, and they HAVE a bench as well. Looks like they are going to be using it right out of the gate. They picked up some good players, and got much better on defense. STILL have a run and gun team, with some good 3 point (Bell, House) shooters. AND some big guys (James, Grant) w/Duncan in mind. Not exactly the way I'd like to start out, but you have to play the hand your dealt. Maybe, just maybe...S.A. can win the West this yr??? Rixx |

The West ??? I'll send you a message when the Spurs hand out their Champioship rings just so you can watch!!! I bet Omare is back in three months, can't keep a young stud down long, so the Suns should be fine.... not like there's any other team in that division that will be a playoff contender this year. Hell, if I was coaching the Suns, I'd tell the starters to report in February |
