Gotta get some pics !!

So, do they still do BP before the playoff games like regular season games ??

That's usually worth the price of a ticket in itself...and you can snag a few foul balls or the occasional dinger....

Go Stros.

The irony is I will be in Playa when the Stros win the World Series. How can that happen?
And pleez Red Sox fans, there is no way you have suffered more than I have unless you are older than me. my team has never been to the WS, so I have certainly suffered more.

OMG...WHAT a game...

Well....Houston had a penchant for doing that all year (Especially with Clemens throwing...)

On my way home tonight I listened to the 9th inning. I knew ex-Angel Eckstein wouldn't strike out, and was pretty sure he'd get on base. I was hoping ex-Angel Edmunds (voted best Angel centerfielder of all time a year after he was traded away from the Angels to Cards). Not surprised Pujols got a hold of one. All setup by the scrappy Eckstein, he was the piece the Angels missed the most this year.

I have to agree. With Backe miked up the other night, he said that Eckstein was a pest (meant as a compliment). He just doesn't give up.

Major props to the Cardinals for getting the win. Major stones...

I must admit, we stopped watching in the 7th inning to work on the backer board laying. Did not know they won until a little while back.

Kinduv odd...Mark Ellis (From here in Rapid City) and Eckstein played ball together at Florida in college with Eck playing second and Ellis playing shortstop - which has turned out to be just the opposite in the bigs...Mark had a great year for Oakland after most in the game thought his missed 2004 season (out with a torn labrum) would never heal to the point where he could play again...Ellis was comeback player of the year in my opinion in the AL...they're both similar players...

A game like this could be tough for the 'Stros to recover from...the pitching matchup for game 6 is a good one Oswalt vs. Mulder....and maybe in a game 7 the 'Stros come back with the Rocket...interesting to say the least...
