If Chicago inner city schools are anything like our inner city schools- many kids are lucky to get breakfast or any type of lunch packed for them at all.
If the ends justify the means (as in, kids get some nutritious food into them, thereby helping their health and focus and ability to learn)- then maybe this program is a good think, regardless of how huffy it makes some people get.
