Favorite Artists

Who are your favorite artists ... post a pic if ya want. I particularly like surrealism and abstract.

Mine are:

1. Kandinsky

Jackson Pollack:

And of course, Picasso:

Honorable mention: Dali

That's pretty cool. Do you like Roger Dean as well. Very "trippy" artist ... did all the album covers for the band "Yes" and "Asia."

Roger Dean is pretty cool too. Peter Max did a lot of work for the Beatles. Yellow submarine for example.

Another artist that I really like is Frederick Remington. He is a great western artist. Sorry, can't find any images on the web to share.

if you're ever in Fort Worth, you have to check out the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art.... they have (had?) the largest collection of Remingtons in the world there.... incredible stuff, I'd say it's up there with Rodin's sculptures

That will be a must do. I like his sculptures better than his paintings. Very cool.

Gustav Klimt is my favourite, his paintings are so dreamy and ethereal...The Kiss hangs over our bed, everyone knows that one....but this one is my favourite, it is in our master bathroom.
