I'm sure I'm not the only one worried about you all, please let us know how everyone is when you have time and if there is anything we can do/send to help.

We have only had power at the office in fits and starts. I just now got connected using a dialup modem. All the people in the village and our circle of friends are unharmed. In Playa the restaurants and stores have been open for a couple of days for basics, and are slowly gettting back up to speed. The damage in the village was moderate, but most of the regular houses are in good shape. There are many larger trees down this time, but Emily took out most of the weak smaller trees. There are still a lot of trees still standing but it will be a few weeks before they have leaves. Check back at the website pueblosacbe.com in a few days for a big update.

Thanks Bill - We've been thinking about all of you and hoping for your wellbeing. Glad to hear that you are all ok. Sad about the big trees, but nature has a way of balancing these things. Peace.

Thanks for the update Bill, I had been worried you might be cutoff out there with trees down. Big trees down is a sad thing but they also may yield some cool things to build with possibly. No? By the way can you buy hand operated well pumps in the playa area? Eventually I'll go solar but I was thinking for the time until I'm down there for longer stretches that a hand operated well might suit my purposes, as well as making mixing mortar at our site easier. Glad to hear no one was hurt.

Bill

Thanks for the update Bill. Glad that things aren't as bad as we all feared. How is our little Mayan wall, is it still standing?? What about the festival in December is it still on schedule for the 21st & 22nd? I'll be there on the 13th, looking forward to seeinig you then.
