Delta Flight 5113 Leaving Atlanta at 12:29

Its strange though as that flight did not show up on Expedias itinerary options. However, Delta did have another flight number listed for the exact same time, but the agent told me they were different flights. I though it was odd the idea of 2 planes with the same schedule.

I talked to people that came in on the bus yesterday DIRECT. So that is old information about the bus not running direct. I don't know the schedule. Perhaps there are less buses? If you ask a colectivo tout if the bus is running, they will tell you no (as it is their job to get you on a colectivo).

Published on: November 7, 2005

On Saturday, Nov. 5, Frontier Airlines was scheduled to begin scheduled service to all five of its Cancun destinations for the first time since Hurricane Wilma struck the Yucatan on the weekend of Oct. 21. By the end of November, Frontier, will have resumed limited service to all five of its Cancun destinations. In related news, Frontier also received approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to fly non-stop service between Indianapolis and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) beginning in March 2006. Details of the new service, including schedules and fares, will be released in coming days. Beginning this Saturday, Frontier will fly non-stop from Denver to Cancun with operations initially on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Service will gradually increase, with daily service commencing Nov.19. Also beginning Nov. 19 Frontier will resume its regular schedule in the Salt Lake market with non-stop departures operating each Saturday. In the interim, passengers will be accommodated through Frontier's Denver hub. From Kansas City, Frontier will resume non-stop service on Saturdays beginning Nov. 19. Passengers on other flights will be accommodated through Frontier's Denver hub. Out of Nashville, non-stop flights will commence Nov. 19 with southbound operations on Saturdays and northbound operations on the following Fridays.

Well.. This absolutely sucks.. !!
My flight with US Airways was cancelled and now I have to take a much longer flight (Iceland-NewYork-MexicoCity-Cancun) ..
And they only let me know today!

Oh well... at least I arrive a day earlier so I get one more day in paradise

What date was your flight scheduled for?

I am flying from CLT on 12/11 direct to Cancun on US Air. I think they start flying direct from CLT this Saturday 11/12.

CLT stands for Charlotte, NC. You can fly to Boston and then get to Charlotte. There are flights from boston that are direct and some are connectors through charlotte. I looked on-line and it does look like alot of the boston-clt connections are full. I also checked from Charlotte to Cancun direct and things are full for 11/20. There are openings a week or two later.

Yeah.. that's actually the problem.. I'm starting school in Playa on the 21st of Nov, so i have to get there on that weekend.. I could have had a flight later with US Airways.. but it's not possible with me. So I have to get there before the 21st. I'm also on a tight budget and this is actually cheaper than the other one so I'll take it (though I'm not completely happy)
And I think it is really stupid to let people know just a week-10 days before they are to depart that their flight has been cancelled.. It's kind of hard to find flights if you have such little time.. But my agent did ok.. no boring waits or nothing.. I get to travel to different places (airports) haha.

We have just got home (England) after a fantasic stay (8 days) in Playa no flight problems leaving , in fact the AA plane was half empty, but the best bit was "NO" deportation (yeah i know its departure) tax at Cancun airport which was great cos we had another $100 dollers to spend on duty frees !!
