Aventura Spa Palace, Which Building is better?

Which Building is closer( better View) to the pool and ocean on the Spa Side? Building 5 or 6 ? Looks like Building 5 is better, if so what are the numbers on that side of the building even or odd numbered that face the pool /oceran side? I assume the lower the number the closer the room to the ocean is that correct? Does anyone have pictures posted of their view from a room they stayed in with it's view of pool and ocean

Thanks

I'll double check this when Palace Resort's site comes back up, but if you're on the Spa side, I think the south hall of building #5 is where you want to be. We've been on the North side of Accordian (which I believe is #4) which is right across the courtyard from #5. I don't remember about the room numbers, but I'll be able to give you a building name when I can access the map again. If you book directly with Palace Resorts, you can request building, floor, and hall and have a good liklihood of getting what you want. Pic below is from Accordian (unit just west of suite) on 2nd floor (pointing camera NE from our balcony).

Great Picture but I think that pic is taken between buildings 3 and 4 isn't it? Accordian is Building #3 and the building in your pic is building #4 Como Frances.

I believe we want to be on the spa side in Building #5 Clarin on the north side of that building so our balcony is facing the pool and the ocean to the east.

Does that sound right? If so now only if I could get the info on which numbered rooms are on the north side of that building(even or odd numbers)

Asp-Lover......I did see your picture a few minutes ago but now it's gone, is another name for that court yard.....the Outdoor Gym? or do I have the buildings mixed up? I assume the Zen Labyrinth is on this side of that courtyard , correct?

Yes, you are probably correct. I was going by memory since I dont have access to the map as their site is down. Anyway, as far as view goes, these 2 buildings would be the best in my opinion. Not sure about the room numbers though

So from the view you had from your balcony you couldn't see any of the pools correct?

No, not from the North side of the hall. But our previous time we were on the south side of that same hall and had a real nice view of the pool on the Aventura side... although it was a bit noisy at times due to traffic to the restaurant.

Yes, it would be the Zen Labrynth that is between those 2 buildings. The fitness course and climbing wall are on the other side (north) of building 4.

I have a great pic of it, but I ran out of room on my attacehment limit. Let me know if you want me to e-mail it to you.

Thanks for all your help, it's our honeymoon and I think we want it a little more quiet and are opting for the spa side I think.

Would love to see a pic of that area. Can you send it to me in one of those private messages? Just click on my name in this post.

yeah, plus it's debatable when anything on the Aventura side will be open anyway. That side was still closed when Wilma hit

Sure wish we knew how bad it was hit, honeymoon isn't until June anyway. They were so close to getting everything fixed too. Too Bad another hurricane hit them again. From what I have been reading it might not have been as bad down there because Cozumel might have been blocking some of the winds and storm surge from the East.

Guess only time will tell before we read the real results of the storm once the Palace servers are back up and running.

Feel real bad though for all the people down there now and the ones that are booked for there in the coming weeks and months.

Does anyone know the condition of the building. Im supposed to be there for my Honeymoon on the 15th to the 22nd and have heard nothing from anyone about this resort and since the corporate office is in Miami, well you know that Biatch Wilma screwed that up too. Any info on El Dorado Royale would help too, staying there Nov 7th to the 15th.

Asp

We stayed on the Aventura Side, because I heard it was quieter. I have a ton of pics of Aventura, e-mail me if you'd like the link to my online album.
