RH and My Travel agent made good on my refund from hurricane Emily

I can't find the original post, So I am starting a new one. I just got my refund (slightly discounted) from my lost stay at the Royal Hideaway due to hurricane Emily. I had booked thru the Vacation Store of Miami. After my honeymoon was interrupted and a sudden evacuation became necessary, I called the RH and asked about getting credit for the nights we didn't stay... the staff told us we'd get nothing. My agent at vacation store of Miami said she'd get it for us, but it would take some time. I had kind of given up on it after seeing all the horrible things that others have been forced to deal with in the months following Emily's damage to the Yucatan.
Anyway, today, I noticed that a credit hit my statement for the nights we lost because of Emily. We are so happy and cannot wait to go back to the Royal Hideaway. Thank you vacation store of Miami! Thank you Royal Hideaway!
By the way, we had NO TRIP INSURANCE!!!!!
