snorkelling/scuba diving recommendations

we (8 of us) are going to PDC in a few weeks (Riu Yucatan)
and am wondering if anyone can recommend any snorkelling trips in the area or is it best to head over to Cozumel. Same with scuba diving. If so any recommendations for Cozumel?
