I know some of you were guessing I would be at the party dressed as Rufus. But in the end I decided on Kowalski from Vanishing Point. Inspired by James’ “how to deal with Mexican cops on the highway”. Don’t expect me to arrive in a Dodge challenger, just a Nissan Tsuru from Executive car rental. Armed with James’ driving hints as my inspiration, I am sure I can make a good run for the border with Belize; before I hit the roadblock.

Gonna go with dressing up as a big ol' cheeseburger....in...where else....paradise!!!

ps...while on the subject of escape and evasion from the policia...executive has a special running on the Tsuru....19.99 a day plus tax and insurance...and I think a VW is only 9.99 a day...might save more than a buck or two! With that money you can purchase a Playa Deal card...or better yet...buy me beers at the bar!!!
