I am dealing right now with a neighbor's dog who was run over (by one of the neighbor's drunk friends) and who is infected and limping and in pain. I've tried to talk to the neighbor, but so far it seems hopeless. I saw that poor dog this morning, hobbling over to the garbage pile. I brought him some food but there's nothing I can do about the dog's injuries if the 'owner' won't permit it.
Yes, it's heartbreaking. Please, if anyone has a few extra pesos, please consider sending it to Coco's to help these poor babies, whose only crime has been to be misfortunate enough to have been born at all. Bless you, Laura and Coco's.
