Casa Las Olas?

I found this place as a possible place to rent in April, it' waterfront and has a kitchen, private condo. Looks amazingly close to water, almost scary. Anyone know about this building, area, beach in front? Good location? Nice building? Anyone stayed here?

Casa Las Olas is located in Plaza Marina near the original ferry pier, the Continental Plaza Hotel and the entrance to Playacar Phase I. It's about 2 blocks from the bus station on Juarez.

It is in the Plaza Marina rentals family...RIGHT at the Ferry dock around and above Senor Frogs at the water's edge....normally what one would believe a good site for a rental...close to everything...perhaps a bit noisy but who can say really...

I wonder if someone who has been by this area can comment on the condition of these for you?

I saw your question earlier this week but didn't have the time to respond. We stayed there last February in the unit owned my Sam Badwan. He basically gutted his unit and so it was great. New A/C units that were quite and cooled down the place quickly. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ferry's and the people. Hearing the waves. Senor Frogs wasn't very noisy, but you won't have to deal with that anytime soon. The common areas were very worn. I wouldn't stay in a unit there that has been updated. We are coming back this year and would of stayed here again but Sam's was completely booked. I'm not surprsied. He has it decorated very nice so the pictures are very appealing. I hope this helps.
