What To Do In Playa New Years Eve???

We will be in Playa Dec 26- Jan 4. Wondering what the happenings are for NEW YEARS EVE in Playa. Beach Party, 5th Ave Party???? Any info on past experiences and some Ideas would be great.

last new years eve: bars and restaruants did single fee covers for food and drink. some bars did two covers depending on how/what you wanted to drink.
stages set up in the streets with live bands. freinds gathered together. it was a blast. NYE in PDC for 2006! i will be there. i stay in downtown area. no taxi needed as long as i can walk.

You and a whole lot of other folks. Many of the usual suspects will be in Playa during this time... including Keith and myself... Dec 10 - Jan 7. I trust it will be another wild and crazy party as it's been all other years.

Keep an eye on this year's holidaze thread titled "2005/2006 Christmas-New Year's"... click here. Better still, jump right in and introduce yourself on that thread and join us for some of the festivities.

Also check the "Calendar" (located in the horizontal nav bar at the top of the page) to see who'll be in town, where they are staying and for how long, as well as any events that are planned during this time. Add your info to the calendar as well so we'll all know how to hook up with you when you arrive in Playa for the holidaze.

Yes... a month. Don't be too jealous... work only allows me to go for a month because I haven't had a job since mid-April. This allowed us to extend the trip this year, however, on a very restricted budget compared to previous years. But we're sure to have a blast regardless... just being in Playa is usually fun enough for us.
