A friend of ours has Jack Russels, they seem to be VERY attached to their owner and suffer from seperation anxiety. Haha, we use to call the first one he had "Rubber Dog". Any way, the young ones seem to do well in a kennel or crate when he isn't home (in the house). I hate leaving dogs out side to have to deal with what ever comes along. It's cruel IMHO, they can't get away from the agrivations that present themselves. How about trying to contain them in an area with a baby gate or something?
