Awesome, Steve!! Far more beach than we saw last Feb. Hope it stays! We have plenty of 'white powder' stretching out in front of our place, too, but it's more the kind you want your 4WD SUV for than sandals and shorts...

Can't wait to try your's instead!! Under a hundred days now and can hardly wait!

The beach is wonderful....

When you are all next here, drop by and have a cup of tea with Steve at the beach front restaurant of Playa Maya, and remember to ask him for one of his delicious chocolate biscuits, as Anna and I did a few days back! In case any of you are wondering, yes it was way too early for a beer!

I forgot I had these photos at the Hotel Blue Parrot, taken I think on November 2 when we were operating from there on their wireless. Looks even better now.

Beach looks great...can't wait to see it in person next year...with today's weather only being the 30's this pic was exactly what I needed.

Yeah, 30's here today too, Monica...aaahhhhh, just 2 weeks from tomorrow- can't wait! The beach looks great! Since we had to rebook our digs and ended up with a bigger place we're bringing a few newbies with us at the last minute who we know will love it as much as we do.

Hope you and Brian have a great vacation. This cold weather does make me think of Playa in another way too...it makes me think of standing at the park and ride at BWI waiting for the shuttle to take us to our flight to Playa last February...it was like 30 degrees that morning and we were in sandles and shorts....everyone kept looking at us like we were crazy.

Yeah, I have to think of my brother heading out at 3 this morning with my sister-in-law and 7 year-old niece, going to Destilledero Beach by Punta de Mita (north of Puerto Vallarta and BIGGEST waves I've ever seen

) for a surfing vacation. Left at 3 this morning on the coldest night yet up here. Had TWO flat tires on the way to the airport and missed their flight, then their new connection to Mexico City. Last I heard they were on standby tonight to PV in Mexico City but probably won't get there till tomorrw. Looong day, especially for my little niece! Oh well, I'm sure it will be worth it once they touch ground.
