I had wanted to see Sarah's Key when it was first released, but my wife wanted to read the book first. She still has not read the book but we watched the film this week. It's a French film about the 1942 Vél’ d’hiv’ Round-up, in which the French police rounded up Jews, who were then deported to the death camps in Poland. Very emotional film about an incident I was not very familiar with. Kristin Scott Thomas did an outstanding job in the lead role.
