Dave has been doing a lot of work on the bar on the beach but still manages to crank out some good southern cooking. Last time I was down there Grady made up a huge batch of Biscuits and Gravy for all the guys working and any of us who happened to be hanging about. Big changes down there. Wait til you see!

GREAT PHOTO's!!! It makes me want to return. And I can recognize many of the patrons. It certainly does look better, but the flags and furniture retain the flavor. (I see that the same bottle of Bacardi's "Anejo" that Keith renewed especially for me, hasn't been touched since the hurricane. It's also nice to see that Tom owns more than his usual "Bombederos" T-shirts.) Now if Grady can heal his finger (burnt during the hurricane, when he tested the temperature of his coffee by sticking his finger in! Look out McDonald's!) and Carlos will sing more than "France." I can almost hear "Zapatas Nuevo" and "Sunshine."

Again, I really appreciate the pictures.

You are so welcome. I know pictures help while you are away. The nice thing about Capt. Daveīs is that when you return, you can pretty much pull up a chair and pick up where you left off.

Michele, since you did such a good job with Heather's red-eye, can you get rid of my bad Mexico hair and replace it with my normal US hair?

Thanks for posting the photos!

Any good-sized souvenir shop should have one. I think there is a chain called Accent Chicago. Looks like this:
