Heather,
Thanks again for the "Usual Suspects" Photo's! They are like a family album to me. Capt. Dave's is almost like "Rick's Cafe" in "Casablanca" - everyone passes through at one time or another. Keep them coming, and say "Hi" to Mike for me. And to Tom! Tell him that the Benton County Oregon Fair will feature Professional Wrestling next summer. (I purchased some flags for my next visit on eBay.) Last edited by rohausser; 11-20-2006 at 01:57 PM.. |

Ron and Grady singing John Prine
In keeping with the "spirit" of the thread, here's a picture of me singing some harmonies on a John Prine song when I was in PDC in March. In fact, we did that a couple of nights. I'm coming on the 20th and bringing him Prine's new CD so he can learn a few more.

Brent Parkin back in town
Rumor has it Brent Parkin, legendary Canadian Blues guitarist, is arriving back in Playa today for his annual 2 month long sabbatical from crappy weather.
I assume he will resume playing at Cpt. D's with Grady and the gang shortly. Don't miss this guy if you can help it, he's terrific! |

Ok, who stuffed my head full of cotton??
Cpt. Dave's, vodka/soda, Brent Parkin and Grady. All is right with the world, but I feel like utter crap today. And Tommy already has a dorky sunburn-sunglass outlines on his face and all.
I want to go back to bed. |

It appears that rumors of your temporary demise are rampant. I heard at La Ranita that you had a lot of fun. Sorry we missed you because I was going to buy you a drink for helping me get daughter Alison to Playa after our bonehead son missed his flight last week and had to come in on the next flight the next day. I assume by now you are tanned, rested, and ready, so assuming we both make it to see Grady sometime this week, the drink offer still stands. Cheers, Ron |

The day after I get a text from him: Direct Quote from you last night: "I will be just fine, and Derrek Lee has the best ass in baseball." I didn't remember saying it, but I guess it does sound like something I'd say.I will most likely be checking out Grady tonight! Hope to finally meet you! |

They blew in like a storm
I just happen to be there when they arrived (wow). It was great meeting everyone even though I can't remember everyones name. The chicago flag and Hoosier flag was added to the walls. Your right Heather Brent was great.
