They are using it in this definition:

Being that anti-sexism is a part of what they stand for, they wouldn't be using it in a knowingly disparaging way against women.

I look forward to him growing out of it!

He really is a great kid, he gets good grades, he doesn't drink, smoke, do drugs, vandalize, he's kind to everyone...much like all his Punk friends. They get a bad rap for how they dress, etc. and because the are often the ones speaking out against what they see as wrong....but ultimately they are GOOD humans, it's just too bad not everyone can see that, or see past the pink mohawk.
