Question about Walmart over there...
I know that Walmart is new there. I am wondering if anyone knows is they sell gift cards there. If so...I am wondering if GIFT CARDS ARE interchangeable between the Walmart here in CA and the WALMART there......I would like to buy a few gifts cards here and bring them to some people there....Does that make sense? Can anyone tell me if they know if the new walmart sells gift cards there?

FWIW, it's a great time to shop at Chedraui. The aisles were uncrowded, the selection was good (found several things I used to have to go to Cancun's Walmart for!) and I zipped through in no time. Before I had even stopped to decide what checkout to use, I was personally escorted to an open one. In fact, MOST of them were empty! I also went to Sam's yesterday and thought their normal crowd was reduced... didn't have to wait on a cash register there either. I'll check out Walmart at 7 am or midnight some day, when the crowds are gone.

I did price compare only one item (just purchased at Chedraui and so I knew the price) and Chedraui was about 10% cheaper for that one item. |

The answer to this question is: YES. They have a small paint section, and I believe I saw a paint color station.

Shopped at Wal-Mart for the first time last night, did fairly well and didn't overspend too ridiculously. I was a little dismayed (but not surprised) to find that already the store is starting to look a little worse for the wear: makeup packages opened and tested and not replaced in correct spots, depleted stock, discarded items left in improper places. Why does that stuff make me so mad? The lines were manageable because they had so many cashiers open, but they really have to do something about the clusterf**k that forms when you exit the produce section and head toward the check out. You have to go back into the store and around to be able to access any open lines. I felt really sorry for all the workers. Every single person I saw had red-rimmed eyes and looked just exhausted. After only an hour in there, I felt pretty beat myself. |
