It's a Canon ELPH point-n-shoot in a housing using the stock flash. Mitch sets the white balance at depth and gets as close to the subject as possible. You are pretty much limited to close-ups but those are what you usually want. Mostly.

Wow, those are amazing pictures James! The clarity and detail made you feel like you could reach out and touch the subjects of them.
I admit that the thought of being that close to any type of shark is kinda freaking me out! I think that's what makes me nervous about snorkeling. I admit to being a chicken LOL. Too many shark movies I guess!

Wow James, the pics are awesome and highly professional looking. The temp here in Ohio was 14 F. last night, so that water looks really inviting. You folks do get to play in Paradise. Hope to again in the near future. Paul D.

Hey James,
is Fantasea a Dive Shop or just the name of the boat? I think i went out on a diving Boat named Fantasea. Do you remember the names of the other dive instructors? I just wondered wether it was the same boat? Eva |
