As far as night dives, I have no idea about their scheduling but we've always done them everywhere I've worked in town. |

Moving?
I was told Dave had a deal worked out to stay there for a while after the hotel was emptied... Things do change. I hope things work out for them, they are great people. Justice, Justice, Justice to the people!

the employees at abyss had told me the same thing james.
i met jason and mitch when they worked at the abyss several years ago. i would have had to look up her name to even get the spelling any where close. have you been on any of the shallower reefs (less than 40 feet deep)? if so how are they? |

I've only done that one dive post-Wilma as I'm pretty occupied with several projects. At 80-85 feet there were a few palm tree trunks seen during the length of our drift. Shallower sites will have some residual damage to things like vessel sponges and sea fans. A diminished amount of "critter nooks" may have encouraged some more fish activity on the reef than normal, some have theorized.
There were a few clean-up dives organized post-Wilma and they concentrated on shallower sites. Mitch went on one and reported alot of debris removed. I'm supposed to dive again this week so I should have more to report soon. Supposedly. |
