shots from our dive today

So Mitch and I went diving this morning with Jason from Fantasea (coming soon to a PDC Directory near you) and had one of those memorable days. There were only four of us, three being instructors, and Jason's girlfriend.

We went to Moc Che deep because there have been lots of bull shark spottings there recently, and we weren't disappointed! About 14 minutes into the dive Jason spotted it off to the left in about 75' of water and we hung out with it for a few minutes. It was about an 8' bull shark, very fat, and very chilled out, just cruising around out of camera range, but we did manage a short video of it that isn't very good.

Apart from the shark we managed to spot a pair of mating (we think) octopuses, barracuda, turtles, eels, angels (both queen and grey), black durgeons, squirrel fish, drum fish, and several stingrays. Images below.

The dive was so fantastic, we decided to skip the second tank since it would just have been anti-climactic.

Thanks for those great pics James, can't wait to go down again too... Although will have to wait about 11 months until I go diving again in or near Playa...

Those are awesome! I love the pics. Makes me think I need to get certified to dive before our next trip!
