I just found a write-up (in Spanish which I can not read) with renderings for the new La Gran Plaza de la Riviera y Plaza Las Americas in Playa. Go to CLIC AQUI to view all drawings along with the location of the new shopping mall. Maybe, someone who reads Spanish can let us all know what the write up says.

It would be impossible for that mall to be complete and open this month.

I have just found some information on the new plaza. It is across from the second entrance to Playacar going south. The new hospital is on the Playacar side. Some of the shell of the building is up. It looks enormous.

It is hard to keep up with all the construction sites going on all over the place .The new hospital will be up and running very soon though .
