I have had only 2 taxi drivers quote me the correct price. One even quoted me 5.00 U.S to take me from 10th and 12 to Mamitas. I told him to get lost..no sense arguing with him. One charged me 3.00 from Mamitas to 5th and 8...he did not get a tip and I told him I knew he was overcharging me. The 2 guys that quoted me correctly got a 4.00 tip and I thanked them for being honest. It pays to know the rates.
