Riu Yucatan
Sorry, but it's Monday and I'm a bit too lazy to search the forum. Just a quick question to those in the know. Does the Riu Yucatan employ the same dining policy as the Palace? i.e. Two "reserved" seatings for the buffet.
Thanks, Brandon |

Well to be honest I wasn't sure if I'd like the open seating. Always liked the same time same table same waiter scenario. After a couple of days we sure adjusted quickly. It was nice to be able to stay in the lounge for an extra drink or "gee, lets sit outside with so and so waiter". Loved the change.

...long pants were required in the evening at the yucatan's specialty restaurants, but not at la hacienda's main buffet...my husband always takes several pairs so that he has them if needed...and, sometimes changes back into shorts after dinner...
