As far as the comparison to Linsanity, I don't know New Yorkers as well as you do. But, Rex Ryan is already getting randomly tebowed in restaurants by fans. (that sounds wrong)
Also, chicks dig Tebow. He's, like, totally adorable.

You are correct, however most teams will know as soon as Tebow is lined up as QB that it is likely going to be a running play and they will play a run defense, not being too worried that he will pass. Now, if he surprises the defense with a few unexpected pass completions, than it changes things.
The female Jets fans already think Sanchez is adorable so he will have competition from Tebow in more than one area.
