It's almost time for Romney to shake the Etch-a-sketch and get ready for the general election. He's very close to the part where he can stop pretending to be a severe conservative.
I'm glad he will get the nomination; I think he was the strongest candidate. I think it will be a good contest. This will be an interesting study of contrasts as far as political instincts/styles are concerned. Romney should be himself. He doesn't do well wearing ill fitting clothes he thinks voters want him to wear. He's not an "everyguy," so why should he fake it? Wanting to have a brew with someone is a deeply flawed strategy to begin with. He should go with the deeply religious, slightly nerdy, business fix-it technocrat. That's who he is.

I agree. It looked very fake when Obama did it with the cop and the professor. I just wish we could vote for someone who truely cared about the USA. But we missed our chance in 2000 and 2008. The people are truely to blame.
