Last June, after a long day at Ziggy's, our driver (as per our request to stop) took us to a liquor store as we arrived back in Playa. Can't remember the name, but it's on 307, west side, I think just north of the 'new' overpass. Anyhow, as we were unloading at the condo, I realized I had left my camera ($500) on the counter when I set it down to pay for the booze. Our driver offers to take me back, we arrive app. 30 minutes after we had 1st left the liquor store. The cashier saw me, smiled, reached under the counter and handed me my camera. Would not accept a tip/reward for her honesty. Just posting this to remind us all that Playa, like anywhere else, has good merchants along with the few bad ones. I will only use that liquor store now, even if it costs a few more pesos, because of the way they made MY mistake turn out with a good ending.
