My wife and I just booked our trip to Iberostar Tucan, 5 days 4 nights (Feb, 27 to March 3) with air and taxes included $1649 total.

I am Jealous. We went down with 5 of us and had to book two rooms. Total cost was just under 1k each, so I would say their prices have not changed.

Best of luck and if you get a chance, hit the lobby bar and try the "dirty Monkey". I had mine over the rocks with no banana...

I guess you mean Tucan next to Mamita's (rather than the resort)? Everything is fine there. The pool has been open for a long time. It wasn't damaged during the hurricanes.

Tucan

Hi just hope this helps for your honeymoon, we’ve just got back from the Tucan

And I can say you’re in for a fantastic time this was our first time to Mexico

And were so glad to have gone to the Tucan, I’m normally a pool person but the

Beach was so incredible with that beautiful turquoise water, most of our time was spent

There.

The staff are all very friendly and very helpful, the food no matter were you go is

Superb. You will have a great time.

I wished we were going back soon.

I will be starting a picture thread of the Tucan this week! In the mean time, look at the thread titled IB Tucan or Barcelo Maya????, have already posted several pictures there.

I'll be there in a couple of days (see counter).
Rest assured I'll take some pictures.
Maybe I'll browse through some of mine from last year and see if I can make a before-after comparison. Though I heard the same as you about the jungle growing back quickly.
You should really ask Craig, since he's just been there.

it is very obvious that all of this late night studying and writing has affected my eyesight! sorry about that, Teezet --looking forward to pix and observations later.
