Anyone around Jan 18-23??

Booked our trip to paradise!!

I was last in Playa 6 months ago-- with my wife for our honeymoon. Trip got cut a bit short-- due to Hurricane Emily (it delayed our departure date to Playa). So, we decided what better than a mid-winter getaway!! ($300 round trip flights from Chicago on Continental doesn't hurt either).

Staying at the Riviera Caribe Maya, just confirmed today. Hotel looks nice, seen it on other trips, but it will be our first time staying there. I'm excited to stay in the north end this time around. Gonna try to do the Fat Cat on the Saturday we are there. Is anyone else gonna be down in Playa in mid-Jan? Maybe we can meet up. It's our 4th trip to our favorite beachside retreat.

My son and I are coming down the 18th -23rd as well. We are going to be celebrating his 22nd birthday on the 20th. We are staying at the Hotel Zanzibar and look forward to some hot weather and cold beer.

We will actually be in Playa from Jan 15 - Jan 22. We are staying in town at the Maya Bric. This will be our fourth trip.

I don't know yet. Not really that familiar with Playa. My birthday wish is to be at some outdoor joint with my toes in the sand for sure. Eating yummy Mexican food with many ice cold cerveza's!! Any suggestions??

Toooo chilly??? You think??? Awwww shucks!!! Not sure then what we will do but I know I will be having mucho fun wherever we end up. And by the way, my actual birthdate is also the 19th!!!!!!! Just like your friend!!! Isn't that something!!!

I am also staying at Zanzibar for this trip. This is my fifth trip down in 3 years. I will be there from January 18th-25th.
I'm traveling alone (una solita) and would be interested in any and all drinking buddies and occasions to celebrate! :p

my hubby and I will be there 17-24th for a wedding on the 21st...we're doing the Coba trip on the 19th and Fat Cat on the 23rd...first time back since our honeymoon cruise 15 years ago! We're staying at Club Yebo. Can't wait...

I realy like coba i have pics in my imagestation. realy nice. were taking American Airlines and we have to stop in TX for 1 hour man thats going to suck

we're flying buddy passes on Continental, so hopefully we'll get there when we're planning...stand by and a layover in Houston too...Either way, I'll be out of the snow. My first standby experience...
