Doha is the capital of Qatar on the Persian Gulf. It was a tiny village before oil production began.
Today the whole city seems to be under construction and you can see that walking along the Doha bay..Some say it is the new Dubai , but it seems more like Dubai 10 years ago , it is friendlier , sleepier and more traditional. It is also a fast developing country..New buildings rising everywhere with dozens of skyscrapers being built towards the north of the Corniche. The Doha Corniche is extending for several kilometers along Doha Bay , a nice place where you can walk or jog down the scenic seaside promenade, enjoy fresh air and gentle sea breezes, and visit nearby museums and parks . It is loved for its green grassy areas with flowers and date trees while, at night, it offers you gorgeous sunsets and glowing lights as reflected on the calm waters.
