Playacar Palace

We are traveling to Playa del Carmen in February 2006 with reservations at the Playacar Palace. I'm not sure if this resort is even open yet? Does anyone have any information on this resort? Please just let me know.

They opened December 13. Go to the Palace Resorts web page for the most current information regarding the resort. The web page is palaceresorts dot com. We will be there February 4 until February 18. Have a great trip.

If you are asking for Palace Riviera Maya from the Riu chain, is going to be open on Feb 3rd.. and it is amazing!!!

Odette, I think they're referring to the new Playacar Palace, part of the Palace Resorts chain not the Rius, which just opened. It's in Playa del Carmen but close to where it borders with Playacar. We saw it 3 weeks ago, thought it was open then because there were lots of people going in and out.
