One Night Stay...

Hi all,
My girlfriend and I will be going down to Tulum again in February, we took a trip up to Playa last time (day trip) and would love to spend a night there this time. Any recommendations on a small hotel, one night stay (relatively inexpensive) would be much appreciated.

We stayed at Posada Freud for a night. It was wonderful and very convenient to everything in Playa. You can contact them through Playainfo.

Chaya is a plant that grows in this area of Mexico and is a basic food of the Mayas .The leaves are similar to that of the grape plant. Can also be made into a refreshing drink.

Ooooo, had this in the tomato based sauce of a squid appetizer and asked the waiter to write it down for me. Michael Holmes provided info on it's many uses, such as putting some in OJ to reduce acidity. He also reminded me that it is not legal to bring to the states. Next trip: search Playa for it, keep fresh til departure, wrap in damp paper towels, insert in bra.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Riviera Caribe Maya on the corner of 10th Avenue and 30th Street. It was a great place, we should have stayed longer!
