Looking for info on Gran Bahia Principe Coba

Anyone just returning from here please let us know how it was? I understand that it IS NOT beach front. How far is it? I've also heard that Coba patrons have access to all restaurants at the Bahia Tulum and Bahia Akumal resorts, is this true? Anyone have a resort map they care to share?

That's correct, the Coba section is not beachfront - and it's quite a hike to get to the beach. But they do have trams running all over the resort grounds that will take you to the beach, Akumal side and the Tulum side. You can use all the facilities of the other sections as well (maybe not one of the ala carte restaurants on each of the Akumal and Tulum sides though - but yes to all the rest).

I have a map but it does not include the new Coba section on it. Here is a link:
Bahia Map The Akumal section is on the left and the Tulum section is on the right. If you look on the left side, above the Akumal side of the property (about where the Bahia sun logo is but not quite that far up), that's about where the Coba section is located.
