Need advice with booking
We are not AI people so I don't know much about booking an AI trip. My dad wants to go to the RM this spring and he wants to go AI and has asked me to find a vacation package for him - he's not realy internet savvy!!
. Can anyone recommend some websites to check out? Thanks. |

Julie,
A travel agent can help you or you can find packages on line. Here are a few sites to check out: www.cheapcaribbean.com www.vacationstogo.com (go to hotel/resort section at top right corner) www.expedia.com I'm sure there are others... I actually got a better deal from a website than what my travel agent could get. HTH, Kellye |

Welcome, this is a great place to get info. The first thing you need to find out is what your Dad wants in an AI. There are so many great AI resorts it can get overwhelming. When I started to look, I was so overloaded with info I got really confused. So, first thing is to find out what kind of resort your Dad is looking for, what ammenities he wants, kids or no kids, close to town, great beach, food, etc., etc. Then of course there are all price ranges. Once you find the resort you want the easy part is finding a TA or web site to book. Might I recommend Shammy, she is a specialist in the area and a great TA. She is also a moderator on this forum. Good luck and happy hunting.

We found a travel agent who is familiar with the area. I would look for an agency with someone who has been to the RM and has seen the various resorts. Apparently they get to do that for little or nothing and he/she should be able to point you in the right direction. We've done both Funjet and Apple trying for an early flight out of Milwaukee. They take care of transfers and everything so you don't have to worry about getting to your resort. Gets us on the beach by noon (with luck) or shortly there after.
