Beach hotel

Hello. I am planning a last minute trip to PDC next weekend. I've got the same rate at LaTortuga and Fusion and trying to decide if staying at the beach at Fusion is worth it. I haven't seen any recent posts on Fusion. The room at LaTortuga will be facing the street, which I heard is noisy. I do like the idea of staying closer to the beach myself and if there are any other suggestions of hotels in the $65.00 range, I would love your suggestion.

You can find my thoughts on Hotel Fusion here, they are only a couple of months old.

Thanx Heather. I saw that posting. I assume nothing has changed since October with your advice?

You make a good point, I haven't been there since after the hurricane. Does anyone else have any input?

We stayed there last year and were fine with it. We liked being on the beach and so close to fifth. I would not suggest eating there-but it is a great location. Definately no frills, but it was clean and quiet. No problems with the smells like I have read about. We are actually staying there again this year. Hopefully there are making some improvements as they are clearly needed.
