Dreams Resort
Well I probably won't be staying in Playa, but will certainly come visit a couple times. We are leaning towards The Dreams Resort in Cancun for a few different reasons and I'd like any suggestions you may have...good, bad and the ugly. I will be there next Saturday the 14th until Wednesday the 18th. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd be interested in hearing why you'd pick Cancun over Riviera Maya, specifically because of the amount of construction still going on in the general area of the hotel zone. I just wouldn't choose Cancun right now. Yes, a handful of resorts are open, but the area as a whole is still a work in progress. Since that is not the case in Riviera Maya, I have been suggesting that people hold of on Cancun for a while. There is a Dreams Tulum too BTW.

The people sitting next to me on my flight home from the Del Mar last weekend had stayed at Dreams Cancun. There were two different couples who had stayed there and all of them said it was very nice and they really enjoyed themselves.

I'm sure we will enjoy ourselves anywhere we stay. For a short trip like this, we decided to try the AI thing. I understand that there is still a lot of construction going on, but we thought we would try out the big city and see what we think. Last time we stayed at The Mayan Palace from our time share so I'm sure this location will blow them away.
