We're a family of football fans, who support Sunderland (north east England team).

We'll be in PDC from April 17th to May 2nd this year and are keen to visit a local football match. I've looked around the net and discovered there are two local teams called Aguilas Riviera Maya and Inter Playa. I can't find any information on when or where they play though.

Can anyone help and tell me if either team will be playing during our holiday?

It's our first trip to Mexico and I'm really looking forward to it

Unfortunately, we lost the First division Aguilas after the hurricane, they've decided to play elsewhere (have no idea why). Inter Playa should be playing around the time of your visit, but it's only every other Saturday that they would be at home. Can't help with the schedule, as there is not website that I am aware of or any new schedules floating around yet. Best bet is to get to town and then go by the stadium on the Thursday or Friday you are in town, they will paint any game information on the wall.

The stadium is on 34th street between 10th and 20th.

Thanks for the info. I've found the thread with the Inter Playa photo's on and it looks like fun!

I've found the thread for the trips too, and we're thinking about booking. I've got 2 boys aged 9 and 7 and they are really keen on learing about Mayan history.
